A Walk in the Woods

Over the past few years, I have documented my many hikes in woods and forests around the country. This project amounts to a visual meditation on the beauty and peace to be experience on a walk in the woods. Whether a dense rain forest in the Pacific Northwest, the austere majesty of giant sequoia in the mountains, the near religious stillness to be found among ancient redwoods, or the luminescence of birch and hardwood forests in the midwest, a walk in the woods, if you are. paying attention, is sure to awaken an awareness of the transience of life and the beauty of Nature.
